Blackwater North State School caters for students from Prep to Year 6. All students participate in learning activities revolving around the Key Learning Areas of English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, the Arts, Music, Technology and PE (Physical Education). Lessons in PE, Music and the Arts and Languages Other Than English (Japanese) are given once a week by specialist teachers. Children in years 4–6 are also given the opportunity to take part in our instrumental music programme.
Students receive an individualised and differentiated educational programme based on student's needs. A variety of intervention programmes are available for students at risk.
